We have an early start to journey to our hotel in Newquay for our evening meal, with comfort stops on the journey.D
The Eden Project is our destination today where we are free to spend the day. Nestled in a huge crater, massive biomes house the largest rainforest in captivity - a fantastic attraction to explore and enjoy.B, D
We spend the morning at leisure in the picturesque fishing harbour of St Ives. Attractions include numerous galleries, four fabulous beaches, a working harbour, the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden (additional charges may apply for attractions). After lunch, we spend the afternoon in Penzance - wander through the subtropical Morrab Gardens, visit the Egyptian House and Penlee House Museum or visit famous St Michael's Mount.B, D
Today we spend free time in Newquay, with the opportunity to enjoy the hotel's leisure facilities and explore the town. Voted one of the nation's favourite seaside towns, Newquay is a wonderful place to discover.B, D
Today we experience a unique piece of Cornish heritage with a tour of the Tolgus Tin Streaming Mill, where we learn the process of tin streaming and how tin ore is smelted to create exquisite Cornish jewellery. We spend the afternoon in the thriving harbour town of Falmouth, whose attractions include the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, or we can enjoy a ferry trip to the charming harbour town of St Mawes, protected by the coastal fortress of St Mawes Castle.B, D
We journey back after breakfast, with arrival in the early evening.B
