Bury Market

Voted the best market in Britain, Bury Market has remained the undisputed champion of the North West for over five hundred years. Oozing charisma and atmosphere, the market’s ambience and layout offers visitors the opportunity to seek out and visit every one of the stalls and find bargains galore.

We’ve had to restructure our pricing as a result of the pandemic and social distancing on board.  As a result, we’re introducing a “Buy one, get one half price” offer.  This is only available for people travelling with their household or bubble.

We are currently only taking bookings by telephone so we can ensure seating is socially distanced.  Please call us on 01482 222444.

Making coach travel safe

· Face coverings must be worn throughout the full coach journey, including when boarding and alighting the coach.  Some exemptions apply in line with government guidelines.

· Coach capacities have been reduced in line with government guidelines – as all trips are booked in advance, these can be easily controlled.

· Wash your hands before and after travel and bring hand sanitiser with you.

· Restrictions are in place with seating plans.  You should only sit with those in their household or bubble.  We may adjust allocated seats to ensure social distancing and chosen seats are not guaranteed – check your final seat with the driver when boarding.

· If booking online, when selecting your seats please ensure you do not book a seat next to one already taken.  If you are travelling with someone outside of your household or bubble, this must be done with separate bookings and seats on separate rows, to ensure social distancing.

· Passengers must not travel if they are feeling unwell, or if they, or anyone in their household or bubble, are required to self-isolate on government advice.

· Destinations have been chosen carefully to ensure social distancing is possible at the destination.  Please follow destination advice and local government guidelines.

· Should trips be cancelled by East Yorkshire Coaches due to the introduction of local lockdowns or changing government guidance, passengers will receive a full refund.
